If ever there were two individuals who should combine their knowledge and abilities to write a book on mountain biking in this part of the state, it is Rob DeGraaf and Rudy Miller. When it comes to bicycling, Rob and Ruddy have just about done it all. From trail advocacy to trail building, club joining and club forming, bike racing and bike building, these guys have been as involved in the sport over the last twelve to fifteen years as is humanly possible. And the end of this unbridled enthusiasm is nowhere is sight.

The pair met in Florida in the mid-nineties while promoting off-road bicycling at the statewide level through their involvement with the Florida Off-Road Bicycle Association (FORBA). Their mutual desire to explore as many miles and acres of Florida terrain as possible, via bicycle, and their subsequent desire to put these adventures into writing has led to the creation of this book.

Most of the trails described in the Guide and their coinciding trail maps have never appeared in print. All trails listed are authorized for off-road bicycling. Included are rich, detailed trail descriptions, digitally produced maps, photos, wildlife information, trail contacts, best times to ride, locally pertinent information and much more. This book will, without a doubt, open many new possibilities for enjoyable rides to every mountain-biker who reads its contents.
