Fat Tire Favorites, South Florida Off-Road Bicycling is a 111 page book featuring over 40 approved off-road bicycling destinations in South Florida: everything from technically challenging singletrack to nature-oriented dirt roads and woodsy doubletrack. The Guide includes detailed descriptions, directions, maps, photos, wildlife information, local contacts, best times to ride, and even a history of Southeast Florida mountain biking.

Most of the trails described in the guide have never before appeared in print. Also, the Guide is the "first" regional off-road bicycling guide to focus on South Florida riding. As a Ft. Lauderdale native and mtb advocate, I was able to fully research and ride every trail listed.

The Guide was responsibly written: there are no unapproved trails listed. This fact stems from my background as a Florida Off-Road Bicycle Association Director and long standing IMBA member. It is my hope that by omitting unapproved sites, riders will direct their energies toward local trail advocacy and education efforts in Florida.
