Stan is the band's bass player. He runs a pool hall with his dad, Mr. Mike. He's very talented and could probably make it out there on his own, but Stan doesn't want to leave the Heights, his dad, or his friends. Alex
Desert Alex graduated from the High School of Performing Arts in New York City and immediately moved to Los Angeles to appear in TV 101 in 1988. When that ended, Alex was cast in roles on Beverly Hills 90210, A Different World, Boy Meets World and Free Spirit, in addition to a regular appearance on The Flash. Alex has held a staring role on the CBS series Becker since 1988. His movie credits include Swingers in 1996 and High Fidelity in 2000. At the time he was picked to play Stan on The Heights, Alex was performing with his band, Hepcat, throughout the Los Angeles area. A caring and thoughtful American, Alex has appeared in public-service announcements warning junior high school students against drug use. Way to go Alex!!!
